Modular, Smart, and Built for Demanding Job Sites

The Baron CONNECT Series represents the gold standard in portable material handling. Engineered for heavy-duty construction, demolition, landscaping, and excavation work, the CONNECT series combines lightweight aluminum construction with an intelligent master/slave control architecture.

Powered by a single-phase 240V supply that drives a robust 3-phase internal motor via an integrated frequency converter, Baron CONNECT conveyors provide smooth, variable-speed, bi-directional conveying. With the ability to link up to four conveyors in series, a single operator can control an entire material transport line effortlessly from one master unit.

The Conveyor Lineup

Model Length Weight Max Pulling Capacity Ideal Applications
CONNECT 2.5m (CU2500) 2.5 m ~61 kg 200 kg Confined spaces, basement lightwells, short transfer links
CONNECT 3.3m (CU3300) 3.3 m ~71 kg 200 kg Residential renovations, window chutes, trench backfilling
CONNECT 4.5m (CU4500) 4.5 m ~87 kg 200 kg Medium reach over slopes, landscaping terraces, debris transfer
CONNECT 6.0m (CU6000) 6.0 m ~103 kg 200 kg High-elevation skips, deep excavations, long-distance runs

Core Lineup Features

  • Daisy-Chain Master/Slave Operation: Interconnect up to 4 units with a single serial cable. Start, stop, and speed changes synchronise across the entire line.

  • Variable Speed & Bi-Directional: Smooth speed adjustment from 20 to 80 cm/s with an instant forward/reverse switch on the control box.

  • Closed Aluminum Side Profiles: Maximum structural rigidity, safe handling without pinch points, and protection against falling debris.

  • Easy Cleaning & Maintenance: Quick belt-tensioning system and accessible open underside for rapid wash-down.

Accessories & Modular Add-Ons

Maximise productivity and tailor your setup to any site condition with genuine Baron accessories:

1. Heavy-Duty Undercarriage

  • Description: Sturdy, wheeled support frame engineered to lock onto the conveyor chassis.

  • Features: Allows smooth angle adjustment, quick movement across uneven terrain, and fast positioning next to dumpsters, trucks, or excavators.

2. Infeed Hopper

  • Description: Sits on the receiving end to catch falling material from wheelbarrows, chutes, or conveyor transfers.

  • Features: High-impact, wear-resistant construction that prevents side-spillage and guides material centered onto the belt.

3. Hopper Extender

  • Description: An enlarged, heavy-duty receiving funnel mounted on top of the infeed hopper.

  • Features: Specifically designed for loading directly with mini-excavator buckets or skid steers, offering a wider catch area to eliminate site mess.

4. Support Stands & Intermediate Legs

  • Description: Height-adjustable modular steel legs.

  • Features: Provide stable intermediate support for long runs, elevated transfers, and multi-conveyor daisy chains over uneven ground or retaining walls.

5. CONNECT Serial Control Cables (7m & 10m)

  • Description: Heavy-duty, IP-rated multi-core control cables with industrial quick-lock connectors.

  • Features: Delivers power, emergency-stop synchronization, and master control signals seamlessly between linked units.

Perfect Uses:

  • Swimming Pool Excavations: Moving bulk soil, clay, and rock out of narrow side passages directly to street-side skips without damaging turf or driveways.

  • Basement & Cellar Dig-Outs: Conveying heavy spoil and foundation rubble up through lightwells, windows, or internal staircases.

  • Underpinning & Foundation Works: Extracting excavated earth from low-clearance, confined areas beneath existing structures.

  • Retaining Wall Backfilling: Transporting gravel, drainage aggregate, or blue metal over steep gradients and terrace steps where machinery cannot reach.

  • Internal Demolition & Strip-Outs: Removing brick, tile, and concrete debris through standard doorway openings and narrow hallways.

  • Tight-Access Landscaping: Moving topsoil, mulch, sand, and decorative stone into enclosed backyards with limited gate access.

  • Trenching & Drainage Installation: Backfilling or removing spoil along narrow easements, boundary fences, and between tight building envelopes.

  • Under-House Drainage & Remediation: Clearing damp sub-floor dirt and maneuvering material out from low-headroom crawl spaces.
