EarthQuake Hydraulic Rock Grab – Suits 4.5T to 6T Excavators
Heavy-duty holding power for the 5-tonne workhorse class.
The EarthQuake Hydraulic Rock Grab (4.5T - 6T) is built to match the impressive breakout forces of modern 5 to 6-tonne excavators. Whether you are constructing large boulder retaining walls, loading heavy hardwood logs, or tearing down structures, this grab turns your excavator into a precision material handler.
At this size range, durability is non-negotiable. That’s why the EarthQuake grab is constructed with reinforced steel and oversized pivot pins to handle the daily punishment of civil sites and heavy demolition projects.
Key Features
-
Maximum Clamping Force: Engineered to utilize the full hydraulic power of your 5-6T machine, providing a vice-like grip on heavy and uneven loads.
-
5-Finger Interlocking Design: The 3-over-2 finger configuration ensures loose debris, scrap metal, and irregular rocks are held securely without falling through.
-
Armoured Hydraulic Protection: The hydraulic cylinder is fully enclosed within the body structure, shielding it from reinforced concrete, tree branches, and other site hazards.
-
Wear-Resistant Construction: Manufactured from high-tensile steel to resist abrasion when working with sandstone, concrete, and granite.
-
Serviceability: Easily accessible grease nipples on all pivot points make daily maintenance quick, ensuring your grab stays job-site ready.
Ideal Applications
-
Heavy Rock Walls: Perfect for handling "man-sized" boulders and B-grade sandstone blocks.
-
Civil & Demolition: Sorting rebar, crushing timber, and separating waste on mid-sized construction sites.
-
Forestry: Capable of gripping and moving large tree trunks and stumps during land clearing.
-
Disaster Clean-up: Efficiently moving flood debris or storm damage.

- Pin Diameter = P
- Pin Centres = C
- Ear Width/Boss Width = E
If your machines hitch specs are not on the list please provide its specifications in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SELLER on the first page of the checkout.
How to measure your hitch specs:
- Choose one of your attachments.
- Measure the Pin Diameters. Check both front and back pins.
