5 Bolt-on Frame Option Advantages

• Close-Proximity Cutting Along Fences, Walls, and Tree Lines

  Offsetting the deck by 500 mm pushes the cutting path well past the host machine's wheel or track footprint. This allows you to trim flush against boundary fences, retaining walls, guardrails, and tree trunks without dragging tyres or tracks against obstacles.

• Safe Edge Work Near Drains, Batters, and Embankments

  When maintaining steep slopes, table drains, or creek banks, driving a skid steer or track loader right on the edge introduces severe rollover or slide risks. Shifting the slasher 500 mm outwards lets the machine stay grounded on stable, flat ground while extending the cutting edge over the incline or drop-off.

• Prevents Pre-Flattening of Tall Grass and Reeds

  When a slasher is mounted dead-centre, the loader's front wheels or tracks roll down overgrown grass, weeds, and scrub before the blades can reach them. The flattened vegetation often springs back up uncut once the machine passes. An offset configuration cuts standing material outside the machine track before it gets trampled.

• Significantly Improved Operator Sightlines

  On standard cab-forward skid steers and track loaders, seeing directly down to the leading edge of a centred slasher deck can be difficult due to the lift arms and front glass. Shifting the slasher 500 mm puts the working corner clearly into the operator's forward and side sightlines, making it far easier to spot hidden hazards like rocks, star pickets, or stumps before hitting them.

• Quick Reconfiguration and Frame Replaceability

  Unlike a permanently welded bracket, a bolt-on frame lets you swap between left-side offset, right-side offset, or centre-mount depending on the job site's direction of travel or road shoulder orientation. Furthermore, if the mount sustains heavy impact damage or if you want to swap hitch types down the track, you only need to unbolt and replace or adapt the sub-frame rather than cutting and welding onto the slasher's deck shell.
