Excavator pin shims are thin, durable spacers used to adjust the fit between moving parts in excavator hitch and bucket joints. They are typically placed around the bucket pins to eliminate excess lateral play caused by wear and tear, ensuring smooth operation, preventing premature damage to bosses and hitches, and keeping your attachments tightly secured.

• Standard Pin Shims: Traditional, full-circle solid steel shims that offer robust, long-lasting durability. These require sliding out the pin completely during installation, making them ideal during routine bucket or attachment changes.

• Detachable Shims (Adjustable Shims): Also commonly referred to as Bucket Spacers, Wear Shims, or Poly Shims. These feature an innovative, openable design that allows them to be added or removed without fully removing the excavator pin. They are perfect for fast, on-site adjustments to instantly tighten up a loose hitch and get your machine back to work with minimal downtime.
